Triangle screw heads

I have been asked to do a job on some external light fittings that have screws with triangular heads.
Does anyone know where I can find a tool to remove these screws, I had a go with my pointy nose pliers but it's proving very difficult.
All help appreciated.

Maplin N53AW in that set has a 2x2x2mm triangular bit, no idea if internal or external.

Screwfix do a couple of different tamper proof screwdriver bit sets

There's so many different configurations, some have a pin in the middle, some have one offset side. I would use google images to find the exact one. Once you have the correct terminology or name then use google web search.

a small pair of cutters opens any tamper proof screw..

Dunno Alarm man, I've come across those triangular ones, recessed in external fittings. Even me long nosed pliers just slipped off

Thorn have a habit of using these stupid things, all their fittings come with a cheaply made key, i have a couple kept in the toolbox along with many various EM light keys/fire alarm etc...

Are the lights being replaced or just a lamp change?

if replaced id just smash the fronts off

cheers for all the help, i sorted the job using a socket set 5.5 or 6mm fit perfect
