O

oslosolar

I have a tricky roof situation basically 3 small area’s one facing south the other 2 which really are the same roof just separated by different pitches are facing east.
Now I presumed we could implement an east south split there would be 8 X 190wp on the south roof
8 X 190wp on the lower part of the east roof this has a pitch of approx 10-15 degrees’
3 X 190wp on the higher east side part of the roof this like the south roof has a pitch of 30 degrees’

All part of the same outbuilding which has it’s own electricity supply and I was hoping to run them all into an inverter, but PV sol seems to be having non of it and is trying to split them into having separate inverters which is an obvious non starter, for cash purposes

Look forward to hearing your thoughts

cheers

Different Pitches need either their own MPP, or inverter. Treated same as different orientation.

Could try micro inverters on the 3 up top. There aren't many quality prodcuts for a 3 panel system, about only choice is the (I promise not to melt / be recalled again) Mastervolt Soladin 600.

Having said that, we have a customer with a 3 panel install and a Soladin 600, and it is just ticking along nicely (he only consumes 300kWh / year)
