Chris depends if its a circuit or an appliance thats at fault

An insulation resistance test would reveal any circuit that has a fault to earth, but that is done with everything unplugged / disconnected.

An insulation test on individual applainces MAY show up the problem, but either way, if you havent got an IR tester its irrelevent!!

If it was on Noah's Ark, then we be applying the seperate regulations for marine craft and ships.

Although it could be argued that it is argicultural/horticultural?
