Hi anyone had a fault like this before on one of these showers as i never have and hoping i havnt missed anything.
Called to a shower tripping rcd, so assumed probably cable or isolator. Disconnected isolator, cable from cu and from shower and ir test on all cables, and continuity, all good. Replaced isolator and put back on, 3 seconds then tripped again. Disconnected shower and put cables in block then switched rcd back on and it stayed on fine so my only logical thought is that its the shower itself. Visualy inspected shower and no signs of damage. Didnt rcd test as Presuming its not nuisance tripping as rcd also protects all sockets to the house and only trips when shower on. Any thoughts please. Cheers.

well, it's seems pretty obvious what the problem is. think even a plumber could work it out. just got to watch the customer don't want a 24kW shower and a 25mm feed.

I too had this problem also found that the CU RCD didnt operate when pressing the test button. after asking another sparky he suggested
pulling out all the appliances and try again, found the fridge-freezer had a neutral to earth fault, slight leak to earth. Only when the shower
was on did the RCD operate. Best of luck.

Isolate MCB, with isolation switch on

Disconnect cable at term block and IR test shower side between L-E and N-E

Then IR test cable L-E L-N and N-E

The one with low reading is the loser ;)
