Hi there

I was after some advice, I recently moved in the short viewings I never noticed all the wiring was in trunking.
I am unsure why the surveyor did no point it out. I am really worried about the bathroom it has trunking all above the shower going round sides an above is this safe?

Many Thanks

Do you have any photos of the trunking in the areas of concern to yourself. They will help alot more than the brief description you have given us.

Far from a perfect install, lots of council homes have trunking run all over for the wiring, as long as there is no hole in the side of the light fitting that may allow steam in then it won't be dangerous or cause you any problems.

as above. perfectly safe in trunking, just looks like a gorilla's afterbirth.

As Dillib said really. that isn't the first time I've seen an install like that.
Is it ideal? Not really.
Is it safe? Most likely.
obviously just make sure there are no massive holes or splits in the trunking and make sure the light is properly sealed too.

I'm guessing you have rcd protection if the worst were to happen..?
