Trying To Work Out Price For Doing Wiring In Kitchen

Hello,

I have carried out electrical wiring in a kitchen. I have never priced a job before and don't want to overprice or shortchange myself any help would be much appreciated.

I fitted:
16 down lights
2 double socket moves
Moved all isolator off walls and relocated to central location (10 isolators)
Carried out all second fix and 3rd fix on kitchen
Replaced all faces with brushed chrome
Wired and fitted cabinet lights
Wired fan
Wired 2 ovens and hob

Took me 30 hours total and 3 trips 30 mile round trip each time.

IMO minimum of £750 on labour, £40 on juice, plus materials and then add mark up of between 10%-20%. 10% being competitive and 20% being expensive.

I had never done the job before and didn't know exactly what they wanted and was going by there word what I was going to have to do. So run in to some issues and some things they said would be done were not done so more work for me.

Plus first kitchen I had done for this builder he has been pretty straight with me and don't want to rip anybody off or to be out of pocket.

Just replaced a 30a fuse holder to 32a mcb

Reattached earth bonding clamp to pipe work.

Rcd already fitted pretty modern house so had everything apart from an mcb fitted and plumber had earth removed while doing the plumbing I just made sure it was reattached before kitchen went in.

Yea and I done first fix also.

Ok maybe not totally modern but split load board with rcds fitted.
