Right we all know what TNS and TT are, yes?
Well, if you have a generator supplying an MDU and the generator is spiked to earth via electrode and the feed to the MDU is a 5 core (3p N and CPC)
is the system classed as TNS or TT seeing as you are not relying on general mass of earth for the return path.
It is no different to a power station supplying , because the generator is in effect the power station.
bearing in mind that TT means terra terra and relying on general mass of earth for the return path where as TNS relies on a cable.
Can someone shed some light on this for me.
Cheers in Advance
