Hi everyone,

could someone far more experienced than me explain the issue regarding TT earthing and using metal cased dual rcd boards.

My understanding is that the links between rcds within dual consumer units have no protection therefore a board would become live if they became loose and touched the outer.

I believe the way to resolve this is to use a 100ma time delayed rcd upfront of the board to make safe.

I believe it’s something to do with measured pfc or pfssc being at a level that wouldn’t allow ads.

Im clearly a little lost with the facts....can anyone explain so I’ve got it!!

thank you
