tube motors

Might be the wrong section if so sorry. I been to look at a tubulular motor which lifts up a bar hatch no labels or nothing on the old one. Now all the new motors are marked in newton metres any idea how to work out what weight they lift the main ones seem to be 80NM .......any ideas guys Please

80Nm would lift about one tenth of that in weight so about 8kg. Theoretically 80 Nm is 80 kg force m or 80kgm²/s²

Is 1KG force not 9.81 newtons then?
