Basically, circuit board was gold before in area I wanted to solder, now it's black, if i place wire there and solder correctly will it work?

Area is highlighted, before colour is on left, after on right.

What caused it to go black? If you overheated it then you need to clean it back to shiny metal with a file or an emery board. Once it's shiny again you should tin it with a little solder first also pre-tin the wire with solder then finally solder the two together as quickly as possible so you don't burn the insulation on the wire or the surrounding area.

If you're not very experienced at soldering then practice on some old wiring and components first until you consistently get a decent looking result. Here's a quick tutorial.

Looks like the pad has lifted and come off, but difficult to tell from the photo. Is it just a speaker/headphone - it looks like it. If so, check resistance between the inner two connection points. If you get a reading of a few ohms, maybe a few hundred ohms, then you can probably connect the wire to the connection point next to the one that you are having problems with. The inner two are probably where the thin copper tails go to the speaker voice coil. If this doesn't make sense let me know! Daz
