Anyone have any idea on what the going rate to fit an aerial is, given up trying to fit them as can never get a decent signal!

About £100-£120. Should be easy enough for you to install though.....point it the same direction and orientation as the neighbours aerial :juggle2:

Poor old Rod, do you think he was holding it with Emu in his hand when it all went wrong! I know I will end up probably doing it myself, I bloody hate ladders, I think I bought the wrong type aerial last time!

if you have a dish I would get an F5 open box and a gift card from fleabay...In total would cost you about £75 and you'll get every sky channel including movies, sports and PPV. You can get a 36month gift card for about £15 and once it runs out just buy another.

If you do go for an aerial ,buy a signal finder . It will save you faffing up and down the ladder , and they are as cheap as chips.

Maybe call a local tv aerial chap for a quote?

I picked one up from screwfix similar to that for around a tenner and comes with the different attachments. SLX digital signal finder.

Apparently £150 to fit an aerial, found this aerial in the loft funnily enough and also found a signal strength finder from when I used to be caravan dragger.
