TV recommendations

Hi I'm looking at getting a new TV and was wondering if anyone could recommenone. Been looking at a Panasonic viera. What's the best out the now?

What do you want to use your TV for? Do you want skype? Do you want to be able to browse the internet? Do you want it for streaming video over the internet? Do you want to play movies from flash drives and portable hard drives? Do you prefer plasma, LCD or LED? Also how large do you need your TV to be and how much moola do you have to spend on one?

Lots of questions I know but without more info you're not going to get good advice.

Browsing the web would be good. I use Apple TV to stream videos. I also play TV shows and films from flash drives. I would prefer a led for picture quality looking about 47"-50" and got about £900ish to spend
