hi all

can i use a consumer change and

(more to the point) can i use an installation of an outside rcd protected socket fed from a spur off a ring main as the second ?

forgot to mention this for a full scope assesment

brilliant thanks, and im not chaning that db because niceic said it has to be two different sites and the site that im installing the outside socket on has an old db so theres no existing rcd for it, so thats why im doing it , thats ok isnt it ?
 
Are the cables to the existing socket more than 50mm deep? or mechanically protected?

If not you will need to put an RCD on it
