Hi Fellas

I have two queries, Ive been to price two jobs this evening one a CCU change and one a combi supply.

My first quandary is...the first job was a ccu change in the sticks on Anglesey, Bungalow 40 years old and the occupiers had it built, the guy assures me the installation has not been altered, taking into account where the property was(single track lane, very remote, i expected TT maybe, but i found a sticker in the intake area suggesting an alteration in 2002, possibly a new meter or earthing arrangment, i have attached a pic, its very grainy, maybe you can see the 25mm brown sheathed tail coming out of the neurtral side of the cut out and going to the earth block, so my question is...is this TNCS arrangement original(1971)?.

second job and question

went to look at a combi supply wire up but on arrival they also want control wiring, plumber has plumbed it in but has supplied no thermostat or programmer.....my job to supply or hers!

For the Combi, I'd use a wireless programmable roomstat.

certainly looks PME, but should have a label. i know PME systems were being installed in the 70's. PSSC and PEFC readings should confirm whether or not.. as for the combi, i 'm with geordie on the wireless stat.
