Two strings at different orientations

I'm looking at a job which could have 6 250 panels on a South face and 10 250W panels on the East face. Is it okay to use a SB 4000TL for this? Will these seperate strings affect each other adversly or can this inverter allow the two strings to work independently?

Use Sunny Design from the SMA website to check, the 4000tl has two independent trackers so as long as the 6no panels will start the tracker you should be fine

You will need an inverter with two MPP trackers such as the SMA 4000TL or Power-One. Alternatively get your supplier to quote you for two separate inverters in case this works out cheaper. Good luck!
