Two wire intermediate plus two way down

Hi have a slight issue can't get my head round this one.
I've got a conduit lighting system bare with me on explaining this basically I have got an intermediate switch with two strippers going to the two way switches no common at this switch I need to add another switch from this intermediate switch I have 3 single cables plus earth running to another switch downstairs how do I adapt the wiring so I can use the switch downstairs as so it'll be used as the fourth switch for this circuit hope this makes sense thanks in advance.

To add another intermediate switch you have to wire it as in the diagram.

Ps. there will be CPCs(earths) in all the cables - just not shown.

what your saying is you have run 3 cores from a intermediate switch and want to make it work as part of the wiring system, yes?

a damn shame you didn't run 4 cores, I'm not sure it can work as it is wired in conduit with the feed one end and the switch wire the other, but I will have a think about it.

is the 3 cores and earth running downtairs in 6243y then? or conduit?

3 singles and earth run in metal conduit mate.

well easy then, use the earth as a draw wire and when you pull it out pull a new earth and single core in with it, you may not even need the earth if the conduit is adequate, can you do this?

Oh dear your right there's only 3 singles going there I'm sure of it oh well any suggestions cheers mate.

I just suggested you pull a core out and 2 back in it's place mate, if it's in tube it will be easy, once you have 4 cores between switches making it work will be very easy.

Yes you need another core for the inter to work........as MDJ says pull 2 new cores in using on of the already installed cores as a draw cable.

Ok I get it is there any other way I can get round it without re wiring cheers.
