O

One_of_them

anybody heard of a SAP-E SE 70W E27

this is not written on the lamp as it seems name less, however this is written inside the fitting itself.

guys,

found out i have lamps with internal so thats cool but on checking, the ballast is totally shot and the capacitor doesnt look too good either.
I've got and able to easily get sodium ballasts however im struggling to get new capacitors. Wholesaler i use didnt have a clue what I wanted and at the time was not able to take one in as a sample.
Also, one of the fittings didnt even have a capacitor fitted and did have a different ballast brand so Im assuming somebody previously changed ballast and just removed the capacitor.

Are capacitors required? I know the lamps will work without anyway but.....

Anyone have experience of getting control gear for sodium fittings easily?
