Hi i am new to this forum and am looking for advice regarding the repair to my UFH cable (150W). I had just finished laying everything .... insulation, UFH matting, latex, ultraflex adhesive, tiles and you can guess what happened ! I was cutting the channel to bury the cable and the saw jumped back and knicked the cable. Have tested and confirmed the core wires are severed. Does anyone have any experience of using a repair kit ... or is it straighforward ... crimping with heatshrink sleeve or are specific components required to protect the element ?
