Does anyone know if there is any kind of adapter that can be used on a standard 1gang UK square metal Knockout box, to convert it to a EU sized opening.
Ive lost count at the amount of times I've recently had to fit a something for someone which was designed for a EU back box , the screw holes line up perfectly but the backing plate is the same size as the KO so you end up trying to pack it out so it sits flush.
To make it worse most of these things hinge downwards and fasten with grub screws too.
Seems more and more products (especially smart stuff) are designed for EU boxes.
