Toolstation have a Rotary Isolator 4 Pole 25A 11kW 415W which they show as "EC947 UL approved".
I've been looking on the UL.com website, but so far haven't found a technical explanation - I assume it's a reincarnation of IP Code, with the US again taking over as World Lawmaker, again.
 
It's an American approval, the UL stands for ''Underwriters Laboratories'' and has a similar standing as the BS kite mark has in the UK!! UL means nothing as far as UK/ European standards go unless the product also holds a EC number....

UL has absolutely nothing to do with IP ratings whatsoever!!
