Hello all, just want your opinion on something. I'm currently testing retail stores and I cannot locate the water meter/stopcock. There is a 10mn earth that goes into the ceiling from MET. I have went round with my R2 lead and am getting 0.03-0.04 in kitchen, toilet etc. Like I said no sign of earth clamp on any pipes either.

On my report i was going to put a C3 for no clamp. And a C3 for not being able to find the water meter/stopcock, as I'm unable to see if it's bonded withing 600mm of point of entry or before T branch. Would you say this is correct?

Cheers

Ring up the water supplier and ask them where the meter.

Thanks for the reply, the company i work for have a separate team for remedials, this is why i'm coding. This is just a single phase shop in a town centre. And i'm doing night shift so no one to call sadly.

FI for further investigation.
There is a 10mm going somewhere

Yeah, FI would be best i think. Thanks

OK, has to be FI as you can't C3 no clamp as you don't know there is no clamp! Sounds like you're on to a proper winner if you can get remedials to team in to pick up all the snags/FI work.
