Under Cab Lighting With Sensor

Afternoon all,

Ive been fitting these under cab lights in the kitchens I work on and really rate them.

Ive had a customer ask for them to be switched on and off by them just floating their hand under the cabinet, ive seen this product,

Infra Red Mini Small Sensor Switch - LLSENS - LLSENS02 - With 2m Mains Input Lead

Not sure of its compatability, but does anyone else have a recommendation for an infrared or motion sensor for this application

I've been looking at these cab lights, love the look of them, good to see they are recommended!

As for the sensor, not completely sure about them being compatible with led? Would be best asking TLC or Astra?

Would be interested to hear the outcome!

I also like these LED strips and have installed quite a few.

You do have to watch the start-up surge on the 36W drivers though.

So I use the 24V drivers from this range:

The IR sensor you propose looks suitable, but I'd try one out before installing at a customer's site, especially if you use it to switch the supply to the driver.
