Guys,

has anyone done underfloor heating and how hard is it to install can you do this under part p

cheers:confused:

Done loads of them, the main thing is to lay them, check them, check them again cos once the floor is layed thats it. I would carry out your IR test, continuity etc etc and then turn it on, even if it is plugged into an extension lead to test it

I agree, usually straightforward just follow the instructions with the kit. When i have checked it all out i also make sure the home owner/builder or whatever witnessess my tests and is happy it all works, so when you come back and find out its fooked you can blame tiler or whoever and you get paid to put it right, Saves a lot of arguments about whos fault it is.;)

as 1234 says.
also you need to make sure the floor is insulated right. you dont want to use a lot of energy heating a void or a concrete slab instead of the room, recommend researching this part fully. as for part p depends on its location probably ie special otherwise its just run off a fcu and not

I think Marmox is supposed to be a very good insulator for this, they start at 6mm and get larger
