Undertaking an eicr on a small commercial unit, tpn 100a 1361 main fuses to tpn dist board, 16mm tails
i have only read the side of the fuse carriers not actually pulled the fuses to confirm

i have clamp metered the supply at a roughly peak time in the premises and had <30A across any one phase, and have inspected all supply terminations for the 16mm at all points after the meter and show no signs of heat or overload damage at all, and look in good condition, the install is around 20 years old

i have put a C3 for this

what would be your opinion?

Fourthed

I would give it a code 3 requires improvement with further investigations required and mark on you cert under limitations that the fuse size is as labeled

As above C3 with further investigation required. Either the tails are too small (which I doubt) or the fuse carrier is incorrectly labelled. You will probably find the supplier has fitted 80 amp fuses and not updated the label on the fuse carrier.

16mm is fine as long as the supply is not PME (TNCS) in which case 25mm is the minimum and would require a "requires attention", "does not comply with BS7671" code.

i'm not a number, i am a free man.........the prisoner.

I might have got lost here, but the rotary iso is rated at 63A so 25mm armoured still wouldn't make the install satisfactory. Assuming everything...
