uni fees

As some may know ive had health problems last few years and not really worked in over a year. Anyway daughter is hoping to go to university next year obviously costing lot of money. Wife found out today if we earn less tham £25000 we get most of it paid for so guess what im now semi retired electrician only allowed to earn £3000 a year and newly employed house husband . Do i feel guilty about getting this all paid for do i hell.

Thought the days where a parents wages/salary was taken into account to support their offspring through uni had stopped and they had to take out loans to pay for their tuition at uni?

Yeh daughter has to pay part of tuition fees by getting student loan but we get accomidation and maintance paid for. I was really concerned how we were going to pay for this. Health problems have made me earning much of a wage now and forseable future very low.
Its amazing getting something from goverment and im english worked all my life payed taxes and nat ins. Cant believe it.
