I wondered if any one has their Task B coursework from previous years? ideally drawing, spread sheet etc would be great I just want to check I am going along the right lines?
Hi Jon, I have moved your thread into the Trainee course section, you had put it in the application for Trainee section so would only have been seen by staff.
Hopefully you will now get some responses.
I did this about a month ago so it's still pretty fresh in the mind. I've put a sample from the spreadsheet on there (ignore the incorrect sums, this was a draft!). Split it up by the DB's and did a table for each one, bit easier to keep track of all the loads and calculating diversity that way.
I took pictures of the site drawings and did the lines on paint on the computer, there was a lot of trial and error and jigging about so saved a bit of hassle. Give me a shout if you've got other Q's
Mate thats brilliant and pretty much what I was doing which is a relief. I do not suppose you have the power information have you and the rest of the spreadsheet?
Well I wouldn't want to deprive you of the fun of working it out! Just decide what's going on each circuit, which DB it's being fed from and you can whack it all in a table. Then you can get busy with all the diversity and balancing
@Jon Ball while we encourage all trainees and try to help them where ever possible we also don't like to encourage members to do a trainees homework for them, please don't take that the wrong way as I know it can be quite daunting at times but try and help yourself as much as possible, I promise this will be of more benefit.
There is a thin line between beneficial help and taking all the thinking out of the subject for the trainee.
The reason for me looking for a copy of the drawings and if possible the spreadsheet was not to duplicate but to use for reference as I am not in college next week then its half term and I need to get this completed and a support guide would be amazing.
Though I do understand your point that's why I was asking.
