Wheres the best place whilst installing these to put the transformer?
 
Sorry, there are to be three downlighters fitted on the ubderneath of the unit, one transformer does the 3. Spacewise I ain't to sure. Cheers.
 
You mean "wall cabinet" downlighters that come in a set of 3 yes

I alway check how long the LV cables are and either fit the tranny on top of the cabinet or behind the kick plate of the floor cabinet
