Good afternoon,
The Metrel MI3000 multifunction tester has long since been one of our best selling multifunction installation testers. Feedback has suggested that it offers the best specification pound for pound on the market, which make it ideal for apprentices at college, or for those established electricians who want a cost effective replacement to an older tester - especially with the economic climate as it is.
2013 welcomes the launch of a newly designed Metrel M000 Easi Plus Multifunction Tester. Along with a new colour scheme which gives the tester an aesthetic advantage over its predecessor, the unit also boasts the addition of the following two technical features:
1) Automatic pass/fail indication on loop (Zs) testing – Simply input the circuit protective device and its rating into your tester (for example, BS60898 6A, BS88 80A), and the Metrel MI3000 Easi Plus Multifunction Tester will give you a tick or cross indication as to whether the measured Zs value is compliant or not. You will also see the value displayed in Ohms, ready for you to record into your certification. The tester is upgradeable should the fuse breaking characteristics ever change.
2) Schematic help diagrams – If you find that you are in the position whereby you are not sure if you have connected the relevant test leads onto the relevant conductors within an electrical installation, Metrel MI3000 Easi Plus Multifunction Tester will display a schematic help diagram which clearly indicates how to properly connect the tester in order to carry out a test correctly. The help diagrams are easily accessed whether you are conducting an R1+R2 continuity test, or perhaps a loop test across line conductors within a three phase installation.
The tester will still remain at ÂŁ335+VAT with a free calibration checkbox regardless of the updated hardware and firmware.
