im going to be changing the kitchen soon and the apliances im going to be using are rated at 12-13amp for cooker and 26 amp for hob!

now the oe circuit is 30mcb rated and the 2 apliances combined are more than the circuit:(,can i upgrade the mcb to a 40amp and still connect the 2 apliances to the same circuit or is that a no no..its wired with 6mm cable,cheers for any advice
 
its possible but that will depend on how the cable is installed and its ccc, usually 32a on 6mm, however if you apply diversity to your circuit then you will find the existing 30/32 a circuit is sufficient
