Down to the DNO mate.They should upgrade it free of charge.If the customer doesn't want it done,what can you do,just advise the customer.

Just out of interest does anyone know what sort of cost is it to get a new supply put to an outbuilding? I presume you'd have to pay for that.

Im afraid its the 'how longs a piece of string answer' too many factors
How near is an available supply cable usually in the street
Whos your supplier as they all charge different
What medium is it going through, soil concrete etc etc

Im afraid its those lengthy phone calls and waiting games just to find out.
