The answer to this question is not "it will never get done by 12/12/11"

I have a customer with a 3 phase feed to their property. From the feed point (where there appears to be a 3-phase meter but no consumer board) it appears to then branch off in two directions, one to a cottage (a) and the main house, the other to another cottage (b), and an indoor riding school. There are consumer units and meters at all the above locations. From the indoor riding school there appears to be a feed to a sub consumer board in a stable block.

The proposed 50kWp PV install would be on the indoor riding school roof and then linked into the consumer unit in that building. Where could the PV generated electricity be used?
1. At the indoor riding school and stable only
2. At the indoor riding school, stable and cottage (a) only
3. At all locations including cottage (b) and the main house.

I think it is answer 1. but would like other opinions.

Thanks

Okay, effectively, everything that was connected to those three incoming phases would use the generated electricity. However, anything beyond the import meter will not benefit from it as 'free' electricity, if this makes sense.

? "import meter" = "PV generation meter" ?

or "import meter" = "existing supply meter" ?
