Hi everyone and thanks in advance.
I am doing PIR tomorrow and I have been told by another spark who saw the job that conduit is used as a cpc, is that acceptable providing the readings:confused: are ok .

Absolutely fine. Rigid metal conduit and the metal sheath or armour of a cable can be used as a protective conductor. 543.2.2, 543.2.5

This install will need a very thorough visual and continuity test on all the metal parts. If you find any defects, then quote to put in a cpc to back up the protection from the conduit etc.

Cheers..........Howard
