Can anyone help?

The house we're installing at today is supplied by Utility Warehouse but the customer (the landlord) is not a customer of Utility Warehouse. British Gas has stopped taking non customers and Utility Warehouse don't seem to accept the Landlord because he isn't a customer. I seem to be going round in circles. Has anyone else come across this before?

I know I can go to Good Energy but I've had such awful service from them I only want to do it as a last resort.

Thanks Ted, the problem seems to be that that Utility Warehouse do provide Fit facilities and they provide the service at the house. I'm wondering if the landlord's own utility provider will accept the Fit application.

Me too - they have a really good reputation but we've had problems with every job we've sent to them. They've lost them - I've had to send email receipts, then they've lost half the application and I've had to re-send the email. I'm still waiting for my first payment it's taken so long to sort out and our last array was installed in July 2012. The other 6 customers I sent to them had the same problems so I stopped sending them to Good Energy.

I am sorry to hear that, nearly all of my customers used Good Energy as their FIT provider, and they could not have been more helpful, even in the mad Nov/Dec rush.
