I personally think that some peoples eyes are drawn to the time at 23:23, but not for any of the silly reasons given. I've literally just looked and its 23:24, it's late and time for bed so I look at the clock. When its anything but 23:23 I dont think twice, but when it is 23:23 you remember it because the numbers are the same (if you're a bit obsessed with numbers) and you can convince yourself that it occurs more than it does. I think he's playing on that assumption.... and I cant believe I've given this some thought! Its my 1 of 2 days off a month tomorrow from either working or looking after my boy so I'm staying up late, drinking a little port and writing drivel about 23:23!!
