Valiant Boiler

O

Octopus

Ok, this may sound a silly question but does anyone know if Valiant boilers use 240v or 12v on their room stats??

The boiler is 6 or 7 years old if that helps!!

Geordie should know this... If he's still awake.

trhink he's on an alcohol diet at the moment.

The last couple I have seen have been 24V. If you have the model number I might have a manual.

I might be wrong but they may have both a 230v next to the mains input and a 12v on the board. But not sure about older models.

Geordie knows that it isn't a Valiant boiler .. it's a Vailant.

See if you can find the model number then we can search the Vailant site for the manuals etc.

I have worked on a few Vailants, but not as many as Baxi Worcester & Vokera so I can't be sure.

I seem to remember the old Sine 18 was 240 volt but not 100% sure.

What I DO know about them is they were built like battleships and weighed a ton and could easily last more than 20 years.

The last one I fitted which was a Turbomax??? over 10 years ago & I was disappointed with the build quality of it.
