Van help

N

Newsome3

Hi all

I just seeing whatvyou lot think
I'm wanting to down value my van ( merc vito 07) to something like a 55 plate vivaro or connect
The van got at moment still has bit owing on it so if sell after paying back will have bit in bank
You think I'm mad doing this?
Other option is leasing. But don't understand leasing really

leasings rubbish.

If you can buy and own a Van it is better. No one else involved.

I would miss the space of a Vito going to a connect. You could easy get a vivaro for less.

I would try for an 05 VW tranny though

EDIT: like mine, 06, bought 1 month out of 3 year warranty, pre dented (but you wouldn't know unless I showed you) and someone had a fire in the back at some point (with the ply lining - just replaced it meeeeself). Added up to a steal.

I would say get the best van you can get and look after it, yeah OK the insides not always going to look it's best, but make shelves and try keep it organised. The appearance and tidyness of your van from the outside will speak wonders about you, if i was looking to pay an electrician to do some work and the electrician come along to work and his van had dents and was looking like it needed to be scrapped had other colour doors on it or hadn't been washed in however long etc etc, i wouldn't be able to stop my mind wondering about how neat and tidy that electricians work would end up.

Fair enough, we all run into this and that, that will try to stop use from keeping things looking great but get it fixed, keep the messyness temporary and get it fixed. Humans way is to jugde on everything, as soon as someone has a negative thought about you, then that's when the bad analisation begins.

Word and mouth gentlemen word and mouth !

Haha listen to me i don't even have a lisence let alone a van haha
