right starting to kit my van out and was wondering what you guys use for the pipe carrier?

did you buy a preformed one for £--- quid or did you make one??

i can get my hand on some nice ducting in grey and chop it down to size or would you just recomend i buy one??

theres a website ( canny mind it ) it was in P.E. it had results of all sorts quiet scarey as to how little it takes to move the pipe n bracket screwed on

at least the manufactured ones would come with recomended fixings and some sort of warranty Id like to think

brought mine for £165 the draw back is you have to line the metal inside as it marks the white tube, it looks better , but duct cut down does the same job.

Black or grey soil pipe with screw on ends. Fasten it to the roof rack with some threaded rod.

Nice and cheap and doesn't look bad at all IMO

Buy a 2m length of din rail and mount it to the ply lyning then you can store all your breakers neatly and visbily. Van vault do a tube carrier that's 4m long which could be useful for galv 20mm. Personaly I've got a Rino tube carrier haven't had any problems so far, another tip is to leave it unlocked, save people breaking the ends off thinking there's copper in there.

Steve, I have an old one kicking around that you can have, in fact I have 2, one 3 metre one and one 4 metre one. They came with my roof rack. I think it's an old BT bristor one, the 3 metre one.

Don't use them , can't get in NCP's and got fed up with taking it off and putting on so all conduit goes direct to site from wholesalers.

Thanks to Pennywise for the suggestion to fix din rail to the side panel of the van to store mcb's etc....with a spare hour or two today did just that,what a great idea,no more scrabbling around in boxes,all my din rail mounted stuff easily accessible at eye level!!!!

Just a wee adddition to the DIN rail mind n pit some sort of keeper at either end ad the rattling will send them off the ends lol been there Done that
