Do all lights in a bathroom have to be vapour proof if they are above 2.25m? I always install them but have wondered if its necessary?
 
MR16s don't last too long at any height in a shower below about 3m without IP protection.
The regs are there for guidance only, at that point common sense takes over and leads you towards the light........
 
Where do you get your vapor proof fittings from? Ive been asked to quote for some but cant find much of a selection online.
