Discuss ventilation rate and extraction in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net
Hi,
The kitchen rate should be 60 litres per second..
Dont forget though, the specification must be based not only on the rooms use, but also on its size.
The number of air changes required per hour for a kitchen is x 10.
E.g A kitchen size say 2x2x2m has a volume of 8 cubic metres.
The air changes required for a kitchen are 10, so 10 x 8 gives an air change requirement of 80 cubic metres per hour.
Hope this helps,
Best regards,
Sav
