Very low reading of PFC test

hi,
I did Ze test, I got 0.22 ohms but PFC test I got 22 Amps. it is very low. I am expecting a (230/0.22=1045 amp ) by theory
So pls let me why it is very low reading

Maybe your tester is dodgy.

Something is wrong, either the test meter, the test method or (forgive me) the person carrying out the test.

I'd try the test again as somethings not quite right. Did the earth lead from the test instrument have a good connection? Also did you try testing to neutral as this should give a higher perspective fault current than to earth? (unless if it's tn-c-s where they should be more or less the same value as the neutral and earth are linked in the service head).

Why? I've had loads of sub 1 ohm readings on TTs.

No, I was just making a point mate. It takes a bit of work but it can be done.
Oh, and some of them were done in the last ten years
