Hello Chaps.

I need to remove a TV/Telephone box from inside the living room.

Currently there is a grey box on the outside of the wall next to where the B.T. line comes in. The box is sealed with a green tag. Two cables come from the box (coax & cat 5). These are clipped along the wall and enter the house. Where they enter the house they are connected into a white box with 2 TV outputs and 2 Telephone outputs. I wish to remove the box and cables. Can I just disconnect from the sealed box and leave it, or do I need to contact the service provider.

My T.V. is being provided by Sky (dish) and my internet is via the BT phone line.

Many Thanks James.

Officially you would get virgin media's service team in. Officially !!
Just remember you may or may not want to swap from Sky back to cable sometime in the future.
And I do believe cable allows a faster internet speed in real terms.
