A friend sent me theses links to a 3D shot of inside the Edinburgh University high performance computing centre. This is a few from the most recent completed building, there is another building I think that is in construction just now.


The 2nd link shows one of the cabinets open with the cooling pipes, and in the opposite direction one of the panels feeding that set of racks with 8 * 125A switched-fuses distributing power.
 
How much power are these things using ?
Max is about 3.5MW. Lots of details in this paper including how they fiddled with BIOS and other setting to take average down to about 2.5MW. Not sure if that covers the A/C power as well, that could be another 25% or so:
I bet that made a big different to their electricity bill!

Wow this is my kinda thread.

My old server had logins for their cameras which I watched enough to convince myself it's on a loop lol

That computer there though is going to be the type we all bow down too in a couple of generations time.

Nice but scary!
