Out of the 2 wireless alarm systems which is the better one in people's opinion? I know a wired alarm system would be a better option. Thanks

Ricochet every time.....good feature, as the name suggest, the signal can be extended, by re transmitting via other devices upto 4 times, making sure the panel always receives the signal. Panel and software can show signal strength and path device has take to reach the panel.

I've just gone for the texecom ricochet for a rewire I'm doing, as was recommended by Tazz, looks a good bit of kit yet to fit it though!

Programming can be scary when you first use it, would suggest programming lead & software....or if you get stuck, a few of us on here can program over the phone network if you have a com2400 installed on the panel. Then when done, you can just change the engineer code

bloody 'ell, all this programming nonsense. our alarm has 2 keyswitches.. ON/OFF and DOG IN/DOG OUT. works great.
I bet either of the fookin things still go off when a spider crawls up the wall and annoys the neighbours for 15 mins. No bugger takes any notice of em round our way, I bet they don't up your end Tel!
