Anyone fitted this stuff before.... Screwfix.com?:mad::mad:

Right pain in the ...... !! customer brought it themselves, nice and cheap.

Once screwed back it fits so tight in the knock out box that you dont actually get any play to do that final tweek to get it level.. right nightmare if all knock out boxes arent exactly bang on level.. and you've 4 right next to each other (for tv/sky etc...)

Ended up getting them to take it back:rolleyes:

Same with the cleaner sockets that we use in landlords with the lock. Usually have to put a deeper box 47mm just to get them in.

Did have similar probs with when done flat plate once before, so put in deeper boxes ready... but wasnt that this time...urghh! Oh well matey went and changed them for something that actaully fits now so happy :)

I always thought that a minimum of a 35mm back box was required for these things.

If I ever get asked to use these, I will always use 35mm boxes.

old thread, i know, but just been lumbered with fitting some... never again. complete sh!te.and the terminals are crap as well.
