Hi forum, I'm about to start my first practical work on my course, so I need to start getting some kit together. So far as voltage testers go, I've been looking at the megger 320, fluke t5 & t6. any advice would be appreciated.

I use a Fluke T5-1000 which also works as a clamp ammeter- useful for immersion heaters etc.
This is also DC/AC auto ranging on voltage so it lets you know DC polarity.
I prefer this on loop in lighting circuits when sussing things out prior to the usual Zs / R1R2 tests on the big Fluke.
