I not sure if others have noticed but I have noticed that over the last few months in my local area Essex that voltages have been dropping to become more in line with 230v.

I know harmonization occurred a good few years ago, but I was always seeing voltage or 240 to 245 until very recently I noticed an overall drop on all jobs I do.

Has anyone else noticed this.

Hi Sky, it is 235v around Hampshire.

It would take a couple of minutes per transformer if the voltage were altered at the 33/11KV level.
I lowered our works 440V plant supplies to 400V. It lasted for about ½ a shift before I put it back. Every man and his dog was moaning at me.

Less likelyhood of a sudden demand in the Summer so the voltage can be lower.
Quite likely a lot of work is being done on the H.V network so there may be a strain on what's left live.

I'm only guessing tho'
