is it £5.99 a month no other charges?

i used skype to rent a number off them, they are cheap enough and you can have any code you want, ie if you wanted to look like your office was in london you could get the london dialing code and choose the number you wanted and if you have skype on your mobile it forwards the calls to you foc.

I use vonage and am happy with the service, i use spare room as an office so have vonage phone in there to keep business and home seperate, if noone is in office voice mail can be downloaded via net to mobile phone or you can set the number to forward to your mobile phone

ive had a quick look at skype but cant find anything about what it costs per month?

listening to voicemail is free, forwarding calls to a landline is free but forwarding to a mobile will cost 12p a minute, thing i like about vonage is that you use a normal phone and dont need a pc on to use it. a list of the free features are here:
