What A Week That Was.
Monday, my uncle was taken to hospital with pneumonia and sepsis… not good news. My dads other brother passed away last July.
Tuesday was just numb. I’d been at a rental to do the PAT test on the appliances… walked into the empty flat to find water dripping through the the kitchen ceiling. We’re thinking it’s down to sabotage from the upstairs neighbour, who got kicked out for noise problems.
Wednesday. Got notified I had won an online raffle for Lego. Woopee. Except the prize is actually out of stock, so they gave me a cash equivalent. £75 not bad.
Thursday… After a slight improvement, my uncle fell into a coma and died. Aged 68. He was my dads younger brother… the eldest passing last year. And as dads go…. He’s bottling it up and staying quiet.
Friday. As a little treat, I took the kids to Mac Donald’s. Tried their “mcplant” meat free burger.
Lovely.
Saturday. Just to top it off, my wife and I decided we needed to be spontaneous… so we nipped over to visit a few car dealerships, just for a look.
What we’ve got just now is a tad thirsty when it comes to mpg.
