Has anybody out there used these connectors and if so what did you think off them!

I have never used them or even seen them but they look to me like typical push connectors are they?If so they are a real pain in the aris if you have a fault on a circuit as they dont have an exposed terminal where you can test for voltage
 
the type being discussed are lever clamp type, not push in. they can be used for flex as well as solid/stranded cable.
