Greetings.
I think Wago's are great, a really useful and helpful little product but I have one doubt about them.
The conductors are joined inside the Wago joint and using the Wago lever arms are clamped firmly into place, this is all good.
The conductors must be joined inside the joint by some sort of metal strip and I wonder how much current this internal metal
strip can take until it is damaged.
I mean with a short circuit current of 1000 Amps this little metal bar is going to get extremely hot.
Does anyone have any information about the testing of these little Wago joints, what sort of short circuit current have they been tested to?
Thanks.
